for the stupidest reason >_< We got the "ultimate package" deal for our internet because we went over (massively) on our downloading limit this last bill, about 200 dollars over *sigh*, so we switched to the ultimate plan and even asked the woman "will our download speed remain the same?" she said yes, uploading will be slower but the download spd should still be around 400-500kbs, we were like "sweet. Immediately after our internet made the jump over I all of a sudden have huge problems with MegaUpload. Like, page loadings are SLOW, I cant get more then 1-2 kbs on my MU Manager at a time, and that's being lucky if i can manage to start a download at all. It's just really fucked up and I'm so FUCKING FRUSTRATED i just want to tear my hair out and scream in to a pillow. I was really looking forward to having unlimited download again. There are so many dramas i'd like to watch/catch-up on and I'm trying to get my music collection built back up and now I cant use MU practically at all. MF works fine, my speed is still alright with that, so I'm wondering if the service provider put a restriction on the MU site or if its just a huge coincidence and maybe MU is the cause of the trouble (and hopefully it will blow over by tomorrow) either way it's still heartbreaking right now because all the sites I go to for d/l things use Megaupload and rarely any other site. So I'm at a stand-still........ I really wanna hit something. Is anyone else having a problem with MU? Maybe it is just the site *prays (-/\-) *
12th-Dec-2009 12:25 am - Oh Muppets.....
Flooooooonne
NEVER CHANGE!

Honestly, my fav. three muppets "singing" Carol of the Bells, its fantastic! Almost as good as the recent "Bohemian Rhapsody" they did.

GOLLBETTY makes me happeee

The Trumpeter, SHODAI, is a friggin hawty :3
My fav. song of theirs - It's a lot more calm then their other works but no less awesome, and it has a fantastic harmonica goin on. Really catchy and toetappin.

I watched Ikigami last night (OMG Fantastic movie, the performance of the singer and the story of the brother and the blind sister, gah crush my heart why dont you o.O) Anyways, the song that the performer sang, "Michishirube" I fell in love with it, so I had to track down who sang it originally and I found PhilHarmoUniQue and their original version.... Omg, it really just tugs my heart, they have that sound that I loooooove. Not the absolute best vocals in the world but there is just real emotion in the singers voice, he makes me feel the song. I love that. It makes me think of BUMP OF CHICKEN's "Supernova" and THE BLUE HEARTS' "Chain Gang" two of my most favorite songs in the world. Anyways, long story short, KMC isn't working for me at the moment *Tears* i have no idea why, so if anyone knows where I can find more PhilHarmoUniQue I'm pretty sure you'd have my ever lasting devotion.... Like, forever :D

Oh, and everyone should watch this movie!
"In an attempt to spur citizens into taking more productive roles in society, the government of a near future/AU Japan issues death messages, or 'ikigami', informing them that they have only 24 hours left to live. The film follows a young man tasked with delivering these messages, as well as the victims"
It made me cry, then again that actually isn't any challenge as we all know :3 But it still was really well done. A great cast of amazing actors and actresses, a "pulling" story and all around just real good.

Song I'm talkin about (with stills from the movie. nothing spoilery)

Song as performed in the movie (Slightly "spoilery" in that I think to get teh full impact you really need to watch it in context to the film)

*seriously, just kick my chest in why don't you, Japan. Damn you :*(
29th-Nov-2009 03:45 pm - Ninja Assassin [movie]
Bi (Grawr)
OMG RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN! *latches on like the lil fangirl she is*

So we, Stucky me and the brother-in-law, just got back from NA. Me and Stucky felt we owed it to Biggie to cleanse his soul of New Moon, Ninja Assassin seemed a pretty good cure-all. Blood and limbs flying everywhere, ninjas flitting in and out of shadows, epic awesomeness all around held together with minimal plot to get you from A to B. It was fantastic XD
Rain did so good! And his English has gotten a hellova lot better from when he appeared in Speed Racer, I honestly hopes this just launches his Hollywood career so we could see him play in more "serious" movies, ala A Love to Kill or something.
I gotta say as well, Joon acted so well as young Raizo! I don't listen to much MBLAQ but I couldn't help but squee when Joon came on screen. He did so wonderful, Rain must be proud :D

All in all if you are an action nut or you love ninja's, or hell, if you're a Rain fangirl (yay, i fit under all 3 XD ) then go see this movie!
24th-Nov-2009 02:05 am - Eddie is adorable for once! [cats, pics]
Kitty Eaaaars
Yes! The cat that usually has you going "wtf is wrong with him" when viewing his pictures, can actually be cute once in a while!
I've got proof!

He's adopted Gobo as his pillow. It's so friggin cute.

Okay, so i'm finally getting around to watching VS Arashi ep. 63.... the one where it's the Arashi boys VS GACK! XD There is nothing funnier then Johnny boys cowering in fear from the almighty Gakuto-sama, or watching Gackt trying to stack little coins on a rotating table.

Seriously tho, as much as I love my Arashi, it was great watching Gackt be all arrogant and lightly verbally abusing the boys... and threatening his partner, Daisuke XD

Gackt... why are you still hawt? o.O I feel like he shouldn't be anymore, but he is O.o

I was able to catch up on a lot of Drama/Movie watching lately which is always a good thing!

Movies:
Watched Dance of the Dead.
"It is prom night in middle America. Tuxes have been rented and dresses have been bought. But when the dead unexpectedly rise from their graves to eat the living, it's up to the geeks, the nerds, the outcast and the losers who couldn't get dates to the dance to save the town from the undead. Unlikely heroes will rise to the challenge as they are forced to put aside their differences and band together to fight for their lives. Armed with bats, sledgehammers, garden tools and guitars, this rag-tag group of high-school teens are in for a prom night they will never forget."
It was cute and funny and had some really nice gore effects for an indie film. A definite recommend from me and Stucky. It made me cringe and shudder at a few spots just because of the.... idea, and though the comedy fell flat at some points, at others it was really funny :) One to watch with a friend I think.

FINALLY got to see Star Trek, and Omg, BEST FUCKING THING EVER!!!! Honestly, it was amazing! Everyone was fabulous in their roles and I loved the whole AU aspect of it! It gives them so much leeway for the next two films (cannot wait for them!)

G.I Joe was another one recently viewed.... I just couldn't hang with it, not after watching Star Trek. I wanted so much more out of it then it offered. *sigh* But! It did give me some Lee Byung-hun eye candy, always an A+ XD I would watch that man in pretty much anything, especially if he's shirtless. God hath granted mine eyes a wonderess thing, and it is called Lee Byung-hun :P~

Drama:
Tokyo DOGS!
"Takakura So witnessed his father's murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo, a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura's, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they've been given."
I didn't think Oguri Shun could look hotter, until I saw him in a three piece pressed suit and wield a gun all competent like. Honestly, it's amazing. My fangirlness exploded into a giggly goo pile in the first episode alone. And it just keeps getting better.

Samurai High School....
"Mochizuki Kotaro is a mild-mannered, unmanly high school student. One day, he visits a library and meets the mysterious librarian Himiko, who recommends to him an ancient book about a heroic general from the Sengoku period 400 years ago. Kotaro notices that he has the same name and age as the general described in the book, and he experiences a flashback... Kotaro later mentions the book to his father, who tells him that he may be the descendant of a powerful samurai. At that moment, Kotaro receives a message from his childhood friend Ai telling him that their classmate Nakamura Tsuyoshi is in trouble. He rushes to the scene but doesn't have the guts to help, until another flashback transforms him into a samurai!"
Way out there and really just a crackpot of fun. Miura Haruma is fantasmic in his dual role. Its great to watch him go from over the top geek student to downright manly take no shit off anybody epic samurai. He makes the show worth watching, even if it does get a little preachy at times.

My Girl ~
"The story revolves around a 23-year-old man named, Kazama Masamune. During high school, he had a girlfriend four years older than him, but she suddenly leaves to go abroad. Six years later, he receives news that she has passed away. In addition, she secretly gave birth to Masamune's daughter. Now the five-year-old daughter, Koharu, is returning home to Japan, and Masamune must raise her."
Heartfelt and tugging! I'm always a stickler when a storyline involves a little kid. This one is right up my alley. The girl that plays Koharu is so friggin adorable and talented that she brings out the best in Aiba Masaki, who plays her father. I don't think they could have picked a better two actors for these roles and I'm having fun watching how the story unfolds.

I'm always watching ALOT of Arashi no Shukudaikun lately o.O It's addicting. *sigh* Damn you Johnny boys and your crack-like late night talk shows!!!!!

In other "news"! Tomorrow I'm dying my hair blond! I haven't been blond since I was 15 so this'll be fun ^_^ I know I said I was gonna take a pic. of my black hair but it wasn't permanent and faded pretty quickly (ugh, roots -_-) but I will DEFINITELY show you all the blond!! .... granted it comes out okay XD

For now, I promised Stucky and the bro-in-law i'd join them in Battlegrounds on WoW (we actually managed to get a local guild going and we are wreaking havoc in Battlegrounds and pissing people off. It's awesome XD) I will see you lovelies later. Maybe I'll do a Tokyo DOG picspam or something, we'll see.... It is a fabulous show tho, everyone should watch it XD IF ONLY FOR THE SHUN-KUN!!!
