I'd been following the Strikethrough '07 since it exploded out of its Fandom dam and spilled its contents all over the internet.. But I'm just NOW getting a chance to post about it >_< All I really want to say concerning it can be summed up in 5 words: What A Bunch of BULLSHIT! I know I cant say anything that hasn't already been said, but I felt the urge to atleast post something on the whole ordeal.

Really I'm just glad my sister doesn't have a LJ account that deals with her fangirling tendencies. That may sound odd but she is known for her.... Steamy, ero-fanfiction and I just know she would have been one of the targets for Livejournal to snatch up, toss a noose around her digital neck and kick the bucket from right out under her so she could hang... It's one thing to actually delete/suspend journals of VALID pedophilia content and what not but to make a person feel dirtied like that for even one second over something they wrote out of LOVE (really that is what it is, LOVE) of the characters they hold dear is just down and out bullshit. I would rather be shot then for one instant have my sister doubt herself or feel sickly over anything she had ever created for her fandom! UGH!

I know LJ is trying to right their wrongs and everything now but the fact they have to in the first place just shouldn't be. THey should have investigated things far more thoroughly before committing the act of suspension and deletion. Live Journal, you've disappointed us all, that much is clear. It's going to take far more then a small apology to have us even consider trusting you again.

As far as those in the world of Fandom, I don't think I could ever be MORE proud to be called a "Fangirl" then I am now.  Really it's amazing what you all accomplished in such a short amount of time.
